Nwyfre Healing Practitioner Training is open to all…
There are three paths and three levels of practitioner training.
The Three Paths
Broadly based upon the notion of the Three Cauldrons which in a ‘mythic’ sense can be described by the headings in the following table.
|The Underworld||The Middle World||The Upper World|
|Past Lives||‘Reality’||“The Awen”|
|Ancestors||The intersection of the Web||Poetic Inspiration|
|The Cycle of Death and Rebirth||The ‘sacred’ directions||Realisation of Goals|
|Unconscious/Conscious Mind||Ego/Consciousness||Transpersonal Consciousness|
|Keeper of Tradition||Caretaker of the Earth||Seer and Healer|
|Primal Life Energy||Motivating Force||Spiritual Energy|
In essence the three paths can be considered as:
SUN : MOON : EARTH
SEA : SKY : LAND
MIND : BODY : SPIRIT
CALAS : GWYAR : NWYFRE
The Practitioner will be able to work in these worlds in mythic, therapeutic and shamanic ways applying the appropriate balance of interventions/approaches with their client.
The Three Levels
In keeping with other energy healing traditions each level could be considered as Level 1 (Self), Level 2 (Others) and Level 3 (Master/Teacher).
In Druid Tradition we could consider these levels as Bard, Ovate and Druid.
Many Druid Orders see the Bardic level as being that which is concerned with ancestry, story and myth; the Ovate grade is often based around healing and oracular work and finally the Druid grade is focused on service to the community.
It is a mistake to think that there is a hierarchy in this system. The reality is that each person within the system is working with focus in a specific way. Even when someone is working as a teacher they are not considered as the students superior for without one the other does not exist. The teacher is the student and the teacher the student.
A Master does not know everything, nor should they claim to. A Master is one who is starting to recognise what they don’t know and so able to ask better questions.
So the journey to practitioner in this system mirrors that within the tradition of Reiki and Druidry, at each stage the learner/healer starts to master a realm within which they are working.
What about Prior Experience
The amount of training each person will be required to undertake depends upon the specifics of the training and experience of the individual – no one arrives at any training with a blank slate. So each module in the training will be selected to meet the needs of the learner.
For example if you can already demonstrate a practical awareness of Druidic Teachings, Coaching, Active Listening, Hypotherapy, NLP, Journeying. Reiki you may not be expected to re-train in these areas, simply how to integrate what you already do into this framework.
